Convenient USB connectors USB 2.0
The VAIO UX is equipped with a USB 2.0 connector and there are three more on the Port Replicator for connecting peripherals like a printer with the convenience of hot plugging/unplugging. USB 2.0 connectivity is particularly useful for connecting optional hardware such as a scanner or external hard disk drive for quick and efficient data transfer.

Make big screen presentationsVGA Connector
The VGA connector on the Port Replicator is not just for using a desktop monitor; you can also connect it to a projector, say for a business presentation. Alternatively, the mobile VAIO UX can be fitted with a small Display/LAN adapter (supplied) if you want to leave the Port Replicator behind.

Wired LAN connections LAN
When the VAIO UX is docked in the Port Replicator, you can use the 100BASE-TX/10BASE-T connector on the back to link to an office or home network. But when you are on the move, the Display/LAN adapter can be used for a wired LAN connection. So the VAIO UX comes fully prepared for networking.
The VAIO UX is Wi-Fi enabled but has no built-in LAN connector.
