| The VAIO UX is equipped with a USB 2.0 connector and there are three more on the Port Replicator for connecting peripherals like a printer with the convenience of hot plugging/unplugging. | The VGA connector on the Port Replicator is not just for using a desktop monitor; you can also connect it to a projector, say for a business presentation. Alternatively, the mobile VAIO UX can be fitted with a small Display/LAN adapter (supplied) if you want to leave the Port Replicator behind. | | | | | | | VGA connector |

When the VAIO UX is docked in the Port Replicator, you can use the 100BASE-TX/10BASE-T connector on the back to link to an office or home network. But when you are on the move, the Display/LAN adapter can be used for a wired LAN connection. So the VAIO UX comes fully prepared for networking.
