Details of Service Procedure in US / Canada

Step 1:    Repair Order Procedure

Your notebook PC has a problem.

Call VAIO Overseas Service HOTLINE in Hong Kong.

Dedicated 24-hour toll-free line exclusive for the Service

When calling from US / Canada, you need to dial 011 before dialing the toll free number.
(Number will be informed to you personally after purchase of the Service in the confirmation document.)

Operator will validate if you are entitled to this Service*. You will be asked for
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Model name of your PC
- Serial number of your PC

Discuss the nature of the problem and the service procedure.
(Only pick-up service is available. Carry-in service is not available.)

Provide address & contact number of pick up location and confirm the pick up procedure.


Step 2:   Repair Pick-up & Delivery Procedure

Courier service designated by Sony will deliver a pick-up carton/box. Please pack the Product. When it is packed, call the Courier service for pick up. (This procedure is in English only.)

Courier service will come and pick up the Product.

After repair is completed, Courier service will deliver the repaired Product to your local address.

* You can not receive this Service free of charge in case your personal record do not match with Serial number of your defect product, or if the date of the call is out of 1 year after the purchase date of the product.
